After having 2 weeks off due to other commitments we raced at Eastern Creek Speedway for Round 14 of the ECS Sprintcar Series on Saturday 18th March.
It was a really successful event for us, taking out the Win in the 30-lap feature race. Starting the race out of position 7, I attained the lead on lap 21 and then managed to bring it home for the win.
Once again the boys gave me a great car that I could drive anywhere I wanted. We started off okay, qualifying third overall but then in Heat 1 a bolt snapped. The right front shock was just flapping in the breeze! It was a handful to drive but I managed to somehow finish the heat.
Heat 2 was good, though I didn’t go forward I just held my spot. I started 7th in the dash and finished 7th.
A big thanks to Scott Inglis from Inglis Racing Engines for the engine packages he produces for me. He always goes above and beyond for me and I really appreciate it. Thanks Scott!!
