The weekends racing was out at Toowoomba Speedway for Round 4 of the Ultimate Sprintcar Championship. This was a special race meeting as it was “Pink Night”, with the whole night dedicated to raising money for Breast Cancer (which is so very important for our Mums, Sisters, Nans, Aunties and the like.) We went with a 2 tone look for the weekend, pink on top with our blue on the bottom.
The race meet was pretty great as we finished 4th in the feature though it was a tricky track and was quite lumpy too. I was up the top mostly and every now and then I would go through the bumps, not knowing until later that going through the bumps was the fastest line.
So even with that being told to me after the race by my crew, I was still stoked with 4th place as we knew from that we could have been even faster.

This coming weekend we race at Archerfield Speedway. I’m looking forward to a better run then last time there and hopefully we get a nice slick racetrack given the heat we have in QLD at the moment – we can slide job each other which makes for some unreal racing and great for the spectators.
