Round Six of the East Coast Logistics Sprintcar Track Championship Series was at Archerfield Speedway on Saturday 11th December.
Well not much to report about the race on the weekend!!!!!!
Qualifying went good with me getting 5th in my group.
Heat one saw me start from 2nd position – I put the car in the wrong spot for the start and spun the tyres a bit, letting the pole sitter get the jump on me. Regathering during the lap I managed to get back beside him as we entered into turn 1. Then in the middle of the corner I was hit in the front left tyre by another car attempting a slide job, just as I was driving out of the corner. This spun me 90 degrees and I hit the wall really hard. My car was bent to the point where we had to cut the front off it to get it into the truck. So that ended my night early I’m afraid – although that’s racing and sometimes this happens!!

We have this weekend off which is good as it gives us time to get the car repaired and back together ready to go again on Boxing Day.
